How to Go to Gopalganj From Dhaka

From Dhaka to Gopalganj is now much easier as the Padma Bridge has been opened. Direct buses to Gopalganj are available from Gulistan, Fulbaria, Sayedabad, Jatrabari, Dolairpar in Dhaka. Notable transports are: Welcome Express, Dola Transport, Emad Transport, Seba Green Line, ENA Paribahan and Tungipara Express. Fare is Tk. 500 (Five hundred) per seat. Whichever bus you board will drop you at Gopalganj Police Line. Get down there and go to District Cooperative Office/ Deputy Commissioner's Office (DC Office)/ Office of the Superintendent of Police (SP Office)/ Zila Proshashon High School & College etc. (the mentioned offices/institutions are located in adjacent areas) battery operated Rickshaw or Autorickshaw or CNG Autorickshaw will help you reach there. From Police Line to Gopalganj the Fare of Rickshaw or Autorickshaw or CNG Autorickshaw is Tk30 to Tk 50.


Similarly you can return to Dhaka via Gopalganj Police Line. At Police Line you will find the aforementioned Bus Counters back to Dhaka. Fare is Tk. 500 (Five hundred) per seat.
